Somehow they managed to go even deeper into bleak atmospheres and hateful aggression. Their songwriting also evolved further and transports the emotions fittingly. Stellar release with very high production values. Get into the details 🖤 mourner

Thanks for leeding me here, Ippocalyptica. This is indeed compareable to Marthyrium's 2023 masterpiece in terms of relentlessness and intensity. The guitars are sharp enough to cut through diamonds. The dissonance and the melodies are perfectly woven together with the fierce, unmistakingly French vocals. Since this is 8 years old, a follow-up would be greatly apprechiated. mourner
Supplementing sasscore insanity with bolstered vocals and pop-punk songcraft, the California band are kicking ass and breaking boundaries. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 21, 2024

When I listen to most death metal these days it's rarely ever as unyielding or as powerful as Embrace of Thorns. A thick, heavy and penetrating guitar tone that wipes the slate clean. There shouldn't be any underestimations here, this is a superb and fire-fuelling death metal record and one with all the trimmings. Daniel Brown
